Letter to the editor regarding the cover editorial: "Sanizade Mehmed Ataullah Efendi (1771? - 1826), who is the author of the first modern anatomy book Mir'atu'l-Ebdan fi Terihi azau'l-nsan in the Ottoman Empire"

Abstract

I have read the manuscript titled BŞânîzâde Mehmed Atâullah Efendi (1771? – 1826), who is the author of the first modern anatomy book Mir’âtü’l-Ebdân fî Teşrîhi Âzâü’lİnsân in the Ottoman Empire^ which was recently published in Child’s Nervous System, with the first online date of 12 March 2019. I would like to congratulate authors for their intention to present such an important figure of OttomanTurkish medicine’s modernization period.
