Ischemic stroke (IS), especially wake-up stroke, is reported to occur with a maximal peak in the morning hoursand usually associated with worse clinical outcome [1-3].Many proposed mechanisms are reported to be responsiblefor the impaired clinical outcomes in IS patients, includinghemostatic and hemodynamic factors.
