dc.description.abstractMany earth systems phenomena take place over a region continuously by time; hence, the variation is of the spatio-temporal type. The spatial evolvement of the events can be sampled generally at a set of irregular sites or particularly at regular mesh grid nodes as already explained in the previous chapter.
