Abstract

Purpose: Several studies have reported that commonly used antiepileptic drugs such as phenytoin, phenobarbital and carbamazepine increase low density lipoprotein-cholesterol profile, but others couldn’t find any relationship between antiepileptic drug usage and hyperlipidemia.
