Alterations of event-related oscillations in patients with parkinson's disease

Abstract

Studies on Event Related EEG Brain Oscillations presentedessential results on understanding cognitive brain function andcognitive decline in different pathologies. The present study aims toanalyze the abnormalities of cognitive and emotional processes in PDpatients with and without dementia compared to healthy controls Intwo different setups, EEG of PD patients without cognitive deficits,PD patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment, PD Dementia, andhealthy controls were recorded during visual, auditory oddballparadigms and facial expression paradigm.
